I think I speak for almost everyone when I say "Praise God . . . the month is almost over.
It's been hard to keep the ladies away. This has been a real issue, but we are slowly learning how to deal with the magnetic attraction our fabulous facial hair.

It's been scratchy and it's been itchy, but it's also been an incredible ride. Stay tuned for the final pictures next week.

Dance Dance Revolution . . .

Dance Dance Revolution is so bomb. I just spent the last three hours bustin moves and burnin calories. As many of you know (from our recent leadership seminar) one of my strengths is that I am a maximizer. So, when there is some new challenge in my path I tend to take a hold of it with passion and undying fervor. It is in my nature to keep on doing whatever it is until I feel I have mastered it to a sufficient level. My skills in dance dance are far from perfect, but I have indeed began the journey into the world of DDR.

My head hurts from playing so much, and I only stopped because my roomate (6'5" 250 lbs) was going to kill and eat me if I didn't stop. Needless to say, now that I'm addicted it's gonna be hard to get all my work done. I'm gonna need some help keeping a reign on this one!

Family

I thought I would quickly write about my family, and just why I think they are so incredible. My parents have been married for thirty-some-odd years (Congrats Mom and Dad), and my sisters Rachel and Rebecca are 21 and 18 . . . or maybe 19 (?) Sorry Becca .

I was blessed to have grown up with parents who not only loved me, but always sought to bring out my gifts in music, art, and sports.

I have also been so blessed with the two best sisters around, who I love very much. Both of them have exemplified what it means to live a life full of passion for God, which has made me very proud. As much as pastoral training here in Nashville has stretched my mind, I would say my sisters have stretched my life, and the way I live. I havn't always been the best son, brother, or friend, but in my darkest hours my family have proven themselves faithful.

Cherish the natural family you have. Forgive the ones you love, but don't forget to be humble and ask forgiveness as well. It's never to late to get right with family, and there is nothing more freeing than breaking the chains of deep hurt with the ones we love the most.

I have no regrets when it comes to family because it is through them that I am here at all today. I thank God for the blessing of family.

To my Mom and Dad, Becca, and Rachie I love you guys and I'll see you soon!!!!

Mustache August "UPDATE"

Well, here is the first update. I'm not gonna include any names this time around. Try to figure out who's who.

This is one big man with one small stache!! Keep on growin baby!

This is the albino stache. Lots of growth . . . zero color. Keep it growin!

This could be the best stache on the page. If you look close you can see little red hairs. Woo-hoo . . . the growth is mindblowing!

This stache needs some prayers. . . I don't even know what to say . . . More Lord! More Lord!

This brotha can grow hair.

This aint too "shabby" either. Keep it comin!

Mustache August

This month my housmates and I will be growing mustaches. I know what you're thinking. All the ladies are gonna stumble. Knowing this is inevitable I'll keep the photos to a minimum.

In addition to naming August Nashville Stache Month we also decide to name our staches.
